PE coated natural gas pipes are coated with 3 layers of medium/high-density Yellow Polyethylene in accordance with the DIN 30670 standard.
What is a Natural Gas Pipe and What Are Its Standards?
Special steel pipes that ensure the safe transfer of natural gas under high pressure in underground and aboveground networks are called natural gas installation pipes. Security must be at the highest level in the transportation of natural gas, which is a flammable and explosive gas. For this reason, all pipes on our page are produced in full compliance with the international quality assurance TS EN ISO 3183 and international API 5L norms; and all of them are "normalized" to show superior resistance against corrosion.
Differences Between Standard (Black) Natural Gas Pipe and PE Coated Natural Gas Pipe
As you can see in our tables, our natural gas pipes are offered in two different groups according to their intended use:
- Standard (Black) Natural Gas Installation Pipes: They are generally used in indoor mechanical installations, and in closed and protected areas where distribution from the main network to buildings takes place. They feature a beveled end structure that offers high weldability.
- PE (Polyethylene) Coated Natural Gas Pipes: Used in underground lines and areas exposed to outdoor conditions to 100% prevent corrosion (rusting). They are insulated from the corrosive effects of the soil by being coated with 3 layers of medium/high-density yellow polyethylene (PE) according to DIN 30670 / TS 5139 standards.

Our natural gas pipe price list, which will meet all kinds of needs from large infrastructure projects to indoor riser lines, offers a wide range of diameter options starting from 21.3 mm (1/2") up to 323.9 mm (12"). Wall thicknesses range from 2.8 mm to 9.5 mm to absorb high pressure. Depending on the diameter size, the products in our table are manufactured from international Grade A and high yield strength Gr B / X42 quality steel. For your project-based orders, special and competitive discount rates are applied to the specified list prices (TL/m).
